Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 16, 2026

ClinicalCalc Pro ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, which cookies we use, and your rights. By using clinicalcalc.pro you acknowledge this policy.

1
Data We Collect

Email Addresses

Collected voluntarily when you subscribe to our newsletter. Submission is entirely optional.

Feedback & Ratings

Star ratings and optional comments submitted via the feedback page or exit popup. Anonymous unless you provide your email.

Usage Analytics

Aggregated, anonymised data about which calculators are used, page views, session duration, and device/browser type — collected only with your consent.

Local Browser Data

Calculation history, favourites, quick notes, and settings stored locally in your browser. This data never leaves your device.

Advertising Cookies

Google AdSense may set cookies to serve personalised or contextual ads — only if you consent to advertising cookies.

IP Address (via Google)

Google Analytics and AdSense may log your IP address. We have IP anonymisation enabled for Analytics.

Under GDPR, we must have a lawful basis for processing personal data. Here is the basis for each type:

Advertising Cookies

Requires your consent

Consent Required

Used by Google AdSense to display advertisements. If you consent, Google may serve personalised ads based on your browsing history across sites. If you decline, non-personalised (contextual) ads are shown instead — AdSense still displays ads, just not targeted ones.

Google Consent Mode v2

We implement Google Consent Mode v2. Before any AdSense or Analytics scripts run, consent signals are set to denied by default. Google's scripts only activate measurement and personalisation features after you grant consent. This ensures no tracking occurs before your choice is recorded.
